Relax-Med Sp. z o.o. has been operating since 1991. Nowadays it includes the following departments: commercial, service (medical), rehabilitation equipment rental place and production. Relax-Med is known for production of orthopaedic products such as: limb prostheses, orthopaedic brace, orthoses, production of custom-made orthopaedic insoles as well as serial insoles. The process described in the project at the facility includes the production of serial and individual orthopaedic insoles. The second ones are made with the use of thermoplastic materials, adapted to the patient when it comes to the shape of the foot and the correction needed by him. The insole production process involves taking the patient’s measurements (individual insoles) or following the example of shoemaker’s last (serial insoles). For this purpose there are used thermoplastic materials that are glued and activated by the machine that activates the glue and thermoplastic material. Additionally, corrective elements of the insoles are created by using rubber materials. Finally, the insoles are polished and adapted to the appropriate shape and the final check is carried out before being released to the market. All the information about the production and sale of products are transferred to a database on the servers.
